Brian Cohoon has more than 23 years of professional experience in the financial industry. He joined Unified Trust Company in 2012, where he is currently Market Director for Louisville, Ky.

Prior to joining Unified Trust, he served as Vice President of Stock Yards Bank & Trust in Louisville, Kentucky, where he managed the Retirement Plan and Financial Planning Department. During his time in this role, the bank experienced record growth and revenue for these service areas.

Mr. Cohoon holds both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC) designation. He also holds Life, Long Term Care & Disability Insurance licenses.

Mr. Avent is Managing Director of Wealth Management at Unified Trust Company, where he is responsible for the coordination and management of the strategic planning, budgeting, ongoing operations, and sales management for the Wealth Management division. He has been with the company 10 years.

Mr. Avent has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.
